“How can I help?”

We periodically have people ask how they can help us as we seek to go follow God’s leading to Cameroon.  We are always thankful for the generous heart evidenced in these requests; it is truly humbling.  There are several ways in which you can aid us in our journey of obedience to Christ’s call:

Our greatest desire is for people to know Jesus as their savior, therefore the best way to help us is to be involved in the commission that Jesus has called us to, namely to be witnesses of the things we have seen and heard of Him through the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:48-49).  This is not a command only given to 11 men over 2000 years ago, but one that applies to every one who claims the name of Jesus.  If you are not sure how to witness of Jesus and share your faith with others, some great tools for equipping you to do this can be found at The Way of the Master.

Another important way to be involved in our ministry is to pray for us.  We affirm the words of Jesus that we can do nothing apart from His strength and power at work in our lives (John 15), and therefore ask you to partner with us in prayer that God will work through us for His glory.  If you would like to know how to specifically pray for our family and ministry, you can view the Prayer Letters page of our website to download the latest letter or send me an email to be included on our monthly prayer letter distribution list.

Others have expressed a desire to be more personally involved by giving financially to our ministry, either through a one-time gift or a recurring, monthly committment.  The best way to do this would be to contact our mission agency, Baptist Mid-Missions.  You can find a direct link to their website in our Links column.

Thank you for your desire to help us in obeying God’s call.  Whether God leads you to partner with us through prayer, giving, or through personal involvement in sharing the gospel, we trust that He will bless you and make you fruitful for His Name’s sake.
