Enjoying the conference, enduring the separation
The missions conference up here in Deleware is going well. It’s been a great time so far and there’s only a day and a half left. The missions committee was nice enough to “front-load” me at this missions conference in case I have to head home early. I had the opportunity to work with a 1st-6th Sunday School class, introduce our family with my puppet on Sunday morning, and then give our presentation and preach on Sunday night. I have been enjoying the time to relax and really get to know the people now that my responsibilities are over, but not having responsibilities in the evenings has almost made missing my three K’s worse. I am so thankful for the chance to be at this missions conference with these wonderful people, but I really can’t wait until I can be home. I guess I’m just nervous for Karis with being gone for four days so close to her due date – no one should have to deal with a 2 yr old (especially our Kayla) by themselves when they’re 39.5 weeks pregnant. I’m so thankful for such a wonderful wife who always gives of herself for others and for the ministry that God has called us to – you’re the best Honey and I can’t wait to see you!

We miss you soooo much! Kayla and I are having a grand old time (for the most part).
I’m sure you can read between the lines and have a good idea of what I mean. Let’s just say that Kayla has been asking for you pretty often — enough said. We are so proud of you as you represent our family and what God has called us to do in Cameroon.
See you soon! Kayla says, I lu-lu-lu-lu-luv you.
