Why now?

At this point, I am jumping in mid-stream. For the last several months, a group of 4-5 guys have been meeting at the William & Mary Bookstore in Williamsburg, VA to study through the book of Philippians. I don’t really know why I have waited until this point to start blogging from my studies each week, but I finally decided to do it. The problem comes in the fact that we are now almost to the end of Philippians chapter 3 and it would be a nearly impossible task to go back and blog on every verse we’ve been studying for the last month, so I’ve decided just to pick up where we’re at. I will, however give a brief synopsis of the beginning of chapter 3 (up to the point we’re studying now) so there will be some sort of flow to these thoughts. I will not be doing justice to this text by simply hitting the “high points,” but it will have to suffice for now.
